Reduce complications associated with chronic conditions and disease. Reduce pain and discomfort from digestive issues and food sensitivities. Evidence-based nutrition interventions, individualized according to nutritional needs and goals.
Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) is an evidence and science-based therapy for the purpose of disease management and treatment of chronic conditions through individualized dietary interventions. The nutrition program is approved by a primary care physician then implemented by a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.
MNT is fundamental for the management of conditions like diabetes, metabolic syndrome, food sensitivities and more. Medical Nutrition Therapy involves a complete nutrition assessment in order to develop a sustainable, individualized dietary intervention. Moreover, as we are Functional Dietitians, we don’t stop just with what’s on your plate, instead we analyze eating behaviors, cultural, social, and environmental factors that can exacerbate your chronic condition.
It also includes nutrition counseling, as our RDNs will support you on your road to health. Together, once we receive your medical records, information, and have the opportunity to get to know you and your needs, we will help you set priorities, goals, and strategies to reach your health and nutrition goals, ultimately with the intention of you becoming autonomous and confident in your food choices.
All of the Registered Dietitian Nutritionists in our practice use the guidelines established by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics to ensure our patients receive the most up-to-date information and treatment.

Many use the terms ‘dietitian’ and ‘nutritionist’ interchangeably. Be aware that only a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) meets rigorous academic requirements with clinical training. To be called an RDN, you must have a degree from an accredited university. Our team of virtual dietitians must stay informed of guidelines set by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics to maintain their certification as well as provide our patients with expert online nutrition counseling.
